Skyline Exhibits, a trade show exhibit company based in Eagan, Minn. with 30 dealers worldwide, hired Bobbie Caldwell-Hatch in the newly created role of executive vice president of growth. With 25 years of experience in the live events and hospitality industries, Caldwell-Hatch most recently served as senior vice president, customer experience, at Freeman, where she worked for 14 years.

"We are thrilled to welcome Bobbie to the team," said Skyline CEO Anthony Floreano. "Her capacity to drive growth, build high-impact teams and exceed client expectations makes her an ideal choice for this role."

In her new role, Caldwell-Hatch will be responsible for leading the sales and enablement organizations and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team. Her organizational leadership skills, coupled with a keen focus on the client experience, align with Skyline's commitment to providing exceptional service, Floreano said.

At Freeman, she developed and executed initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experiences across all touchpoints and fostering an entity-wide commitment to continuous improvement.

"I’m thrilled to join the Skyline team and be part of the exciting journey ahead,” Caldwell-Hatch said. “I look forward to working with our talented team as we continue to grow, innovate and deliver unparalleled service to our valued clients."

Big picture

Over the past three years, Skyline Exhibits has grown as the trade show and events industry rebounded. Earlier this year, the company introduced CMX (Custom Modular Experience), a new approach to exhibiting that combines creative strategy, measurement and digital activations. The company also launched a new digital product line with nine digital technology offerings.

In addition to Caldwell-Hatch, the company has added more new talent in 2023. In May, Anoop Gupta joined the company as director of product innovation, and he is focused on expanding product offerings, including AI-driven activations and developing product enhancements to provide clients with architectural exhibit design elements. Liza Farm joined Skyline as vice president of human resources, supporting the company’s growth strategy.

In June, Skyline Exhibits acquired its authorized dealer in British Columbia. This brings the total dealer acquisitions in 2023 to five, including Long Island, San Francisco Bay Area, Alabama and Carolina locations. The company has also added more 1,500 new clients in the past two years, Floreano said.

With more than 40 years in business, Skyline Exhibits delivers exhibits around the globe to a diverse mix of more than 3,500 brands — such as American Airlines, Deloitte, Best Buy and Fujitsu — each year. The company, which has five service centers in trade show hubs, has grown to more than 400 employees.

Skyline continues to work closely with BrandSync, its experiential brand agency, to extend clients’ brands beyond the trade show floor.
